Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Muddy and sandy gravel of frontal apron and cone. Sediments are exposed in a road cut and compose the terrase of Middle Pleistocene age. They consist of mixture of clay, silt, sand and fine gravel. In gravel flysch pebbles prevail accompanied by some quartz.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - superficial deposits and post-Variscian magmatites - Quaternary - Quaternary of denudation areas of Bohemian Massif
Stratigraphy: kenozoikum - kvartér
